The Carmel Art Association is composed of local artists who are selected by their peers. Founded in 1927, it is the second oldest operating non-profit artist cooperative in the United States (the oldest is in Rockport, Massachusetts).
The Association exists to provide its members with a permanent art gallery, to advance knowledge of, and interest in the arts, and to create a spirit of cooperation and fellowship among artists and the community.

Since 1927, this historic Carmel gallery has been a showcase for the works of some of California’s most renowned artists. Continuing that proud tradition today, the CAA features paintings and sculpture by over 120 of the area’s most noted professional artists living on the Central Coast.
Periodically, the current members honor one or more of the renowned artist members of the past with a special exhibit and catalogue of their work.

The Elmhurst Artists’ Guild, one of the oldest and foremost guilds in Chicago’s western suburbs, was incorporated in 1946. The first Guild meeting was held in Ms. Jane Duncan’s Art & Gift Shop at 551 Spring Road in Elmhurst.
From this humble begining, the Guild has continued to grow through monthly meetings, artist demonstrations, and local exhibits.
The Elmhurst Artists’ Guild is a Charter Member of the Alliance of Fine Art (AFA) since 1962.

The Elmhurst Art Museum is the Guild home. In 1989 and 1990, the Guild consummated an agreement for the sale of its property to the Elmhurst Park District. This land, adjacent to Wilder Park, cleared the way for expansion of Wilder Park and the building of the museum and secured a permament home for the Guild
The museum’s cornerstone is McCormick House, a U-shaped white, steel and glass residence designed by architect Mies van der Rohe. The museum houses five galleries, one permanently devoted to exhibiting works by members of the Elmhurst Artists’ Guild.

Art Niche New York (ANNY) is a non-profit effort, hosted by the New York Artists Equity Association (NYAEA), devoted to furthering the cause of the visual arts.

The Artists Association of Nantucket is a non-profit cultural organization dedicated to fostering the growth of the visual arts on Nantucket. The islands transformation from a fishing community to a summer retreat began after World War II.
It has attracted artists for many years John Steinbeck finished East of Eden here, Eastman Johnson, Tony Sarg, Elizabeth Rebecca Coffin, and Charles Green Shaw worked here. In the 1945, local artists and craftspeople formed an association to develop Nantucket as a recognized art center, and to promote the education and interest of Nantucket artists.
They established a gallery on the island, and set high standards, with loaned exhibitions from the Whitney and the Metropolitan Museum in New York, and guest speakers such as Tennessee Williams and Thornton Wilder.

Today, the Artists Association of Nantucket offers year-round educational programming for children and adults at the Gardner Perry Lane Workshop, a full calendar of exhibitions at the Joyce & Seward Johnson Gallery, maintenance of the historic AAN Permanent Collection, and a lively schedule of special events.
With over 240 artist members, They represent the best of Nantuckets artistic and cultural community. Its a vital and vibrant association and a rare link to the origins of Nantuckets artist colony.

The quaint buildings and courtyards were built in 1935 to depict a charming old village in Spain for the second California Pacific International Exposition. This Spanish village in Balboa Park was such a popular and beautiful attraction it was allowed to remain when exposition ended.
In 1937 it was reopened as an art center by a group of farsighted and dedicated artists.

During World War II, the US Army used the village for temporary barracks. In 1947, it was reclaimed and restored by the artists. San Diego artists continue to preserve and enhance this historical landmark by adding to its beauty with colorful flowers and unique entryways.

Founded in 1959, the El Paso Museum of Art (EPMA) is a major cultural and educational resource for West Texas, New Mexico, and Mexico.
The Museum houses a permanent collection of over 5,000 works of art. In addition to displaying works from its holdings, the Museum offers a diverse schedule of temporary exhibitions, films, lectures, concerts, and other educational programs to the general public.
EPMA has a steady record of accreditation by the American Association of Museums. The Museum was first accredited in 1972, then re-accredited in 1985 and, most recently, in 2001. Since the new downtown building opened in 1998, the Museum serves approximately 100,000 visitors per year.
